AN APPEAL FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORTS

Thousands of lives have been lost in Kashmir following the collapse of buildings due to an earthquake of magnitude 7.6 on the Richter scale on both sides of the border. AID appeals to all its chapters, volunteers, donors and the community to come forward and SUPPORT the relief and reconstruction efforts in the communities affected by the earthquake. AID US has sent $5000 for immediate relief to the earthquake survivors who are braving the calamity in extreme weather conditions. AID US is working closely with our grassroots partners like ASHA Ashram, Goonj, AID Delhi, Borderless World Foundation and is constantly assessing the situation and disbursing the funds accordingly.
