Phani Mylaravarapu, a Ph.D student in Mechanical engineering at LSU was recently elected as the new President for the AID Baton Rouge chapter. He succeeded Anand Chandolu, who graduated from LSU and is currently employed in Miami, FL (we believe, this has nothing to do with Nick Saban going to Miami at the same time!).

Phani has been actively associated with AID for the past 3 years - he was part of the AID Kansas City chapter before he came to LSU. In addition to his passion for such volunteer work, he also comes with abundance of organizational and people skills, having been the LSU-ISA President for 2004-05.
