AID-Delhi organized a fundraising-drive in response to the cold wave that swept through the region in December/January. The chapter collected a total of Rs.37,000 in addition to in-kind donations of woolen garments and blankets. Many individuals participated in the drive.  Volunteers distributed the blankets after midnight, striving to reach the most needy. Donations in kind were distributed through Goonj (www.goonj.org) a Delhi-Based NGO that the chapter worked with earlier in the co-ordination of Tsunami relief and J&K Earthquake relief.
