This is a very special edition of AID-India newsletter which captures the annual AID-India conference held at Delhi from Dec 17th – 19th, 2005. This conference was referred to as “One of the best AID-India conferences” by various participants from different AID chapters. I wish to thank all those who participated in the conference and made it an enriching experience for everyone. Credits are also due to the dedicated team of AID Delhi who put this act together. During the conference, I’m sure most of us learnt a lot from each other’s experiences and this learning would surely help us in our volunteer work with AID.
It was interesting to see a live example of unity in diversity with people from different walks of life, from different regions, with varied cultures and languages sitting under one roof. The heart-warming experiences shared by the keynote speakers, the Jeevan Saathis and other AID volunteers have laid a strong foundation which will sustain a robust structure for India’s holistic development.
This newsletter has been created by AID Delhi volunteers - as expected, being the hosts for the conference. Feedback about the conference reporting and this newsletter will be highly appreciated. So, please feel free to write to us (See contact section for details).
There was so much to capture during the three-day conference that this newsletter cannot do justice to all the wonderful videos, presentations and photographs related to the conference. So, a CD will also be released with all the conference material.
