AID Supports Monsoon Relief In India

AID India carried out relief operations in the flood affected areas of Andhra Pradesh & Orissa. The activities included compensation for agricultural loss, house repairs in Srikakulam, AP. A financial support of $22,500 has been sent to assist their efforts. 

Mozda Collective & Rajpipal Social Service Society aided the flood affected people in Surat. An amount of $5400 has been disbursed towards providing relief materials that included food supplies of rice, dal, oil; blanket, mosquito net, plastic tarp and candles. 

Jan Sahyog & Bombay Sarvodaya Friendship Center distributed food, clothes and blankets to the 600 families affected in the Narmada valley. $13000 has been disbursed towards the aforementioned relief efforts in the valley. 

Bhasha distributed relief materials in the Panchmahal district, Gujarat; these included plastic sheets, rice, dal, cooking oil, flour, matchboxes, spices, firewood and basic medicines. AID extended a financial support of $5,000 to Bhasha.
