Aid India for Tribal Health Initiative, Tamil Nadu ($4,544 Princeton and Pittsburgh): Supporting 24 health auxillary workers in a 24-bed rural hospital to bring about health awareness in Dharmapuri.

Kalpavriksh, Delhi ($3,100 San Diego): Spreading awareness about conservation of urban greenery and creating a network of various resources to initiate people-based actions.

Nisarga Trust, Andhra Pradesh ($15,500 Bay Area): Supporting empowerment programs for agricultural workers like land rights awareness, implementation and monitoring of NREGA program, and campaign against displacement of people caused by Polavaram dam.

Muskaan, Delhi ($1,777 Penn State): Building awareness in the community about special educational needs of mentally challenged individuals.

Sahyog Trust, Maharashtra ($1,600 Penn State): Addition of moral value education program for prisoners in Pune jail.

South Indian Federation of Fishermen Societies, Kerala ($5,100 Tempe): Developing infrastructure in the Tsunami-affected Muttom regions of Kanyakumari district.

Stop HIV AIDS in India Initiative (SHAII), Punjab ($10,000 College Park): Additional amount approved by the Executive Board to support overall goals of SHAII to conduct directed advocacy at the international level, stress community-based approach and strengthening of basic health care to address the urgency of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in India.

Swanirwar, West Bengal ($2,200 Austin): Organize education-based festival to facilitate networking and sharing of teaching techniques for under privileged children, aimed at middle school teachers.

Unnayan, Orissa ($3,000 Philadelphia and Blacksburg): Supporting the women's leadership development program named "Voicing the Voiceless".

Vigyan Ashram, Maharashtra ($3,000 Troy): Support livelihood generation training for rural school drop-outs through t-shirt and toy production.
