This is a list of recently approved projects.
Lok Shikshan Sansthan –Prayas Education Camp ($2215, AID Austin). The camp will act as a transition period for rural students in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan to prepare for high school. AID Jeevansaathi Madhulika continues to be actively involved with this project.
Mehdiganj Waterstops, Uttar Pradesh ($1767, AID Austin) The project supports Lok Samiti's philosophy: ‘water for life, not for profit’ by funding waterstops. Waterstops provide free water at busy places like markets and bus stops in summer months.
Samaj Parivartana Samudaya, Karnataka ($3000, AID Boston) This project involves intensive grassroots work in three villages in Karnataka, to address issues such as water & watershed development, the right to food and the right to work campaigns etc. |
