Three Letters from India

Over the last few years, a number of our core US volunteers have returned to India to pursue the work of AID in India. Most of them have cast aside other career options in favor of working at the grassroots for promoting socio-economic change, some as Jeevan Saathis – full time AID fellows. How does that feel? We asked three such members of the AID family to comment on their personal experiences, trials, and tribulations.

     Bihar to Bangalore

Kamayani, Associate Jeevan Saathi since Nov '05 speaks of her experiences.

     Small Steps to Holistic Change

Madhulika, Associate Jeevan Saathi since Jan '07 speaks of her perspectives on
     holistic change.

     Because I am home

Nishant, a volunteer with AID Delhi explains his reasons for returning.
