  • EQUIP, AID India, Tamil Nadu ($55000 and Rs. 294000, Tempe, Chicago, Bay Area): Ensuring the quality of education for every child in Arani and Vembakkam blocks in Thiruvanmalai District and ten blocks of Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.

  • Tribal Awareness & Bonded Labor Emancipation), Lok Shikshan Sansthan, Rajasthan (Rs 404900,Austin): Creating awareness about NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) among the local communities (mainly Bheels and other tribals).

  • Self Help Group for Education Support, Asha Darshan, Assam (Rs. 486000, Tempe): Community development through education and organized Self-Help groups in the Nalbari district, an insurgency-ridden area of Assam.

  • Nationwide RTI Campaign, Kabir, Mutiple States (Rs. 400000, Anti-Corruption Team): Nationwide campaign raising awareness about RTI (Right to Information Act, 2005) and facilitating its use by the common people.

  • Stop HIV/AIDs in India Initiative, SHAII, Punjab ($15,000, College Park, Blacksburg and Common Pool): Coordinating Indian and international advocacy efforts to build and promote a holistic response to the HIV/AIDS pandemics in India.
