Over 100 volunteers attend 10th AID Conference
Buffalo hosted AID’s 10th annual conference over Memorial Day.

Chhattisgarh to Buffalo, Seeking Justice                         Sen
First there was applause and then there were tears; one was filled with hope on the one hand after witnessing extraordinary strength under extreme duress. At the same time, one could not help feeling sad and angry after listening to Dr. Ilina Sen

An AIDer’s First Conference
This was my first year attending the annual conference of the Association for India’s Development (AID). It is difficult to describe what a powerful experience it was. I learnt a lot more about AID activities, ways to get involved and AID’s relationship with its Saathis and Jeevansaathis.

AIDers discuss, then march on gender
Earlier this year, there was a spirited discussion on AID forums regarding women's dress code and its impact on their physical safety. To take the discussion to the next level, we decided to organize a session on gender issues at the conference.

Session of service
AIDers at the conference participate in a session of service and amidst the fun relate to the dignity of labor and associated issues.
