An AIDer’s First Conference
This was my first year attending the annual conference of the Association for India’s Development (AID). It is difficult to describe what a powerful experience it was. I learnt a lot more about AID activities, ways to get involved and AID’s relationship with its Saathis and Jeevansaathis.
AIDers discuss, then march on gender
Earlier this year, there was a spirited discussion on AID forums regarding women's dress code and its impact on their physical safety. To take the discussion to the next level, we decided to organize a session on gender issues at the conference.
Session of service
AIDers at the conference participate in a session of service and amidst the fun relate to the dignity of labor and associated issues.
